Chris Silk – newly appointed Commercial Manager, started working for Benchmark in November 2016. Chris has a wealth of knowledge of the grounds maintenance business –having been in it for some 15 years and previously worked for both in the public and private sector. Having been in his role for some months now, he has had an opportunity to reflect on Benchmark as a business and comments about the things he likes as follows:

Chris takes on a different role with Benchmark to his previous roles in the industry, that of Commercial Manager and so spends a great deal of time liaising with clients. His view on what clients want can be summarised as follows:

- Quality
- Speed of service.
